He joined Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation (currently Nippon Steel Corporation) in 2013. At the Process Research Laboratory, he was engaged in the optimization of the supply chain by applying mathematical optimization and machine learning technologies, and received a special in-house commendation for the development of cost reduction technologies worth more than 500 million yen per year. He has also obtained patents, presented at international conferences, and submitted papers to journals, and joined negocia Inc. in 2019.
